About Fiona
Fiona is a highly experienced and empathetic Senior Law Clerk who has worked in the legal industry since 2007, with a focus on personal injury and compensation law since 2011. She brings deep practical experience to Donaldson Law’s abuse, ADF and integrity matters and has been consistently humbled by the strength and resilience of the survivors she assists.
Fiona works closely with the team and with clients to make the legal process as steady and predictable as possible. She helps to gather and organise evidence, draft detailed correspondence and documents, coordinate information from institutions and support services and keep track of key dates and next steps so matters keep moving.
Clients often remark on Fiona’s quiet, calm manner and the way she makes difficult conversations feel more manageable. She takes time to explain what is happening in plain language, is mindful of how often clients are asked to retell distressing experiences and looks for ways to reduce unnecessary stress at each stage.
Her approach to client care reflects Donaldson Law’s values in practical ways: she is dependable, thoughtful and generous with her support for both clients and colleagues. Fiona’s steady presence behind the scenes is a key part of how the firm is able to run complex, emotionally heavy matters in a safe and sustainable way.
