About Mia
Mia is a Law Graduate at Donaldson Law. She began her legal career at just 17 in a general practice firm in her hometown of Goondiwindi and has since developed strong experience across a range of areas, with a particular focus on compensation work. That early, hands on background means she is comfortable managing complex files and supporting clients through demanding processes.
At DL Mia now works primarily on abuse, ADF and personal integrity matters under the supervision of the senior team. She helps to gather and organise records, prepare chronologies and evidence summaries, draft detailed correspondence and keep matters moving in a steady and predictable way. Clients and colleagues value her calm manner, attention to detail and the way she explains practical next steps in plain language.
Mia has completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Griffith University and is currently completing her Practical Legal Training (PLT), to be admitted as a lawyer in early 2026. Bringing together study and practice over several years has given her a clear sense of how legal theory operates in real cases, particularly where trauma and institutional systems intersect.
Outside work Mia is a keen foodie and enjoys exploring new places to eat with family and friends, a balance that helps sustain her in this demanding area of practice.
